The ADRC Nutrition Program provides nutritious meals in Polk County and Burnett County through the ADRC Dining Program and Meals on Wheels of Northwest Wisconsin. Our Dining Program provides a nutritious meal and an opportunity to dine and socialize with new and old friends

What Can I Expect?
All are welcome to enjoy delicious lunch Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Each dining site has its own serving times and contact information. The sites are closed Wednesdays and weekends, as well as when local schools are closed for unsafe weather. Dining sites may also be closed on holidays for which the government center(s) close.
Expected closures are listed on the menu. Unexpected closures due to weather are posted on our Facebook page.
Each meal provided meets one-third of the recommended daily dietary allowances and includes meat or other protein, two servings of vegetables, one serving of fruit, bread, dessert, and milk.
What Does it Cost?
The cost/voluntary donation amounts for congregate dining are as follows:
- General Public: $12 per meal (Effective July 1st, 2025)
- Individuals 60 Years of Age and Older: $4 – $6 suggested donation.
No one (60+ years of age) is ever denied services because of the inability to donate the suggested amount.
Funding is provided by Older Americans Act (OAA) funds, state and county funds, private contributions, and participant payments/donations.
How Do I Start?
Contact your local dining site (or the dining site you would like to attend) to reserve a meal at least 24 hours in advance. If a dining site staff member is not available, please leave a message.

For matters regarding sign-up, menus, meals, locating your meal site, and closures, please contact your chosen dining site. These are listed lower on this page.
For matters regarding program policies, financial concerns, donations, grievances, special events, or other nutrition program topics, please contact the ADRC at 877-485-2372 or adrc@polkcountywi.gov.
For transportation requests call 715-485-8592 or email adrc@polkcountywi.gov at least 5 days in advance.

St. Croix Chippewa Dining
The St Croix Tribe also has two group dining sites that serve hot, nutritious meals Monday-Friday.
Tribal elders who are 55 years of age and older and non-tribal members 60 years of age and older are welcome to attend to enjoy a delicious meal and socialize with new and old friends!
